Chances are, this is your first time to plan a wedding! Don't worry, I have listed out some FAQs to help guide you through the world of videography and filmed a behind the scenes video so you can have a look into how I shoot a wedding!

Need me to fix your veil? on it. Step mom driving you crazy? distracting her right now. bridesmaids have fur shawls and you want a few pics without? I'M THERE BABE.

"Our video is the cherry on top of our perfect day! From the first meeting to discuss my vision, to getting the final video, Britley has been a consistent joy to work with! She has a truly genuine and positive spirit, and she brought such a great presence to our entire day and planning. Our video is PERFECT! I’ve watched it at least 15 times since receiving it less than 24 hours ago, and I somehow love it more with every viewing. She captured everything in a way that makes me want to relive that day over and over and over again. Thank you, Britley! We couldn’t have dreamt of anything better!!!"

Frequently Asked Questions

I hired a photographer, do I really need a videographer?

Short answer: yes. Long answer: I recently was editing a film in my home when my husband came over to watch. After seeing a strangers wedding video, he said, “I feel like I know them”. I love that. I love that through your vows to your spouse, your best friends speech, sweet words from your mom as she helps you get ready, someone can get to know you as a couple and feel like they were there. I think about your great great great grand child who may never meet you in person, but can watch your video 100 years past and feel connected to your wedding centuries ago.  Reliving your wedding day through the art of film is something you will not regret and trust me, you don’t want your cousins iPhone shot to be all you have.

How much are your services?

Wedding collections start at $2,500 with an average investment of $3,000. You can add on raw footage, ceremony edit, dress rehearsal dinner coverage - let's talk!

Raw Footage? Ceremony Edit? Dress Rehearsal? What is all that?

During the wedding day I take anywhere from 300 - 600 video clips. About 30% of those clips end up in your final film! The reason? A guest walked in the shot, a baby cried in the background, it's an unflattering angle of your mom (and my job is to make everyone look fabulous!) So I give couples the option to purchase all of their footage, called "raw footage". A ceremony edit is basically what your parent's wedding video consisted of! I set a tripod up in the back of the aisle and press play. It records everyone walking in, your ceremony, and first kiss! About 90% of my couples choose to add this on to their package. Your dress rehearsal dinner is usually the day before your wedding and many times this includes multiple speeches from your family and friends. These speeches are great to add into your wedding film, plus you get to have their sweet words on video forever!

What's your creative process?

While this isn't a question I get asked, I think it's important to address! What I focus on most when editing is your story. Typically that's through the use of audio (like letters, speeches, personal vows, pastor, etc). I use discrete mics to capture professional audio throughout your wedding day, and put it altogether with beautiful shots of you + incredible music! Don't worry, I have had every couple say "I hate my voice!" and then they get their wedding video and LOVE it! Once the story line is put together I color grade (aka put a cute filter on it!). My style is bright + colorful while staying true to color.

How are you navigating filming weddings with Covid-19?

Like the rest of the world, one day at a time! Many of my 2020 spring weddings were affected and rescheduled, free of charge. Couples who rescheduled to a date I was not available for my amazing associate shooters filled in and I still edited their weddings. On wedding days I am happy to follow whatever guidelines that have been set by your venue + city limits. Additionally, I religiously wipe down my gear (like mics, lights, etc), after every use. If your wedding plans completely change and you need to elope/have an intimate wedding I'm down! See a drive-in wedding I filmed here and read their article published in Columbia County Magazine

I'm planning a destination wedding/eloping...do you travel?

Yes!  If your wedding is outside of Oklahoma / The US, I would be thrilled to capture all of the adventures you're dreaming up for your day. Destination weddings / elopements start at $1800 + travel (flights + 2 nights of hotel). I have traveled to 20+ countries across 4 different continents and while I have some fun destinations on my 2021 calendar, let's add yours to my list!

How far in advance should we book you?

Since I only take 25 weddings each year in order to go above and beyond for my couples, I suggest booking 8-12 months out from your date in order for you to get a spot on my calendar! I hate turning away couples because they waited too long to inquire. This isn't a "book now or you'll never have me" kind of scam, it's just true! According to the Knot, your first 3 vendors you should hire are venue, photo, and video. Reach out and let's talk!

Can I pick my song?

Absolutely! However, all music has to be licensed/legally free for me to use in your video. Meaning I can't legally use a Beyonce song for your video (trust me, I would if I could!!)  You can browse song options on MusicBed but most couples choose to have me pick it for them based on the footage I get/overall vibe of the day. Picking out music is part of my creative process and I really enjoy finding the perfect songs to compliment your wedding video with!

Do all of your packages include a second shooter?

Nope! 90% of my wedding films are me shooting solo. I'm very confident in my ability to create a timeless wedding film as a one woman show. However, if you would like to add my amazing second shooter Maddie to your package, you can! If you have a larger wedding (over 300 guests, multiple locations, etc) I recommend you add her on.

When will I get my final video?

I get it. You want your video as soon as you can!! I text a short  preview to you 24 – 48  hours after your wedding to share on social media + get you excited  all over again! Your full length film will be ready 4 weeks after your wedding date. This is something I am extremely proud about as a business owner! I would hate to wait 2, 3, 4 months for my wedding video so a fast turn around time is my commitment to you when you book with me. Since 2017 I have never missed a deadline!

I want you to film my wedding! How do I book?

Yay! I can not wait to meet you! Head to my "Contact" page and fill out the form! Once received, I will send you my complete pricing guide + we can set up a time to grab coffee or chat on a phone call to discuss your vision for your day / any ad-ons you may need.

Do you film any + all weddings?

Yes! Regardless of race, religion, sexuality, I want to film your beautiful day! I hate that I would even have to clarify this, but after talking to many of my friends from minority groups, I know being discriminated against while planning the happiest day of your life is a common fear, and a common reality. I am happy to capture all that your wedding day entails!
